How To Measure Pants

Please note that the pants should be laid flat on a smooth surface or table for precise measurement.

Half waist: Button up the pants and lay the garment out on a smooth or flat surface. Measure from one side of the waist to the other with the help of measuring tape.

Half hips: Button up the pant and lay it out on a smooth or flat surface. Remove any fullness or wrinkles from the back panel for accurate measurements. Using a measurement tape, measure the distance from two hip points C and D as shown by image on the left.

Front rise: Button up the pants and lay the garment out on a smooth or flat surface. Remove any wrinkles or fullness from the back panel. Measure from the crotch seam point K in the left image to the upper part of the waist band.

Back rise: Button up the pants and lay the garment on a flat surface. Remove any fullness or wrinkles from the back panel. From the backside, measure from the crotch point K to the upper part of the waist band point M as shown in the image.

Inseam: Button up the pants and lay them out on a smooth or flat surface. With the help of measuring tape, measure the distance of inseam from the crotch area, where the front and back seams connect, point G all the way to the bottom of the leg, point H to the length you wish to wear and cover with shoes or boots.

Half thigh: Button up the pants and lay the garment on the flat surface. Measure from the crotch seam line from point E in the left image to the outside of the leg, point F similar to the waist band.

Outseam/pants length: Button up the pants, and lay the garment out on a flat or smooth surface with outseams at both edges. Ensure that there are no fullness or wrinkles from the back panel. Measure the distance from the upper part of the waist band all the way to the bottom part of the hem.

Half length: Button up the pants, and lay the garment out on a flat or smooth surface with outseams at both edges. Ensure that there are no fullness or wrinkles from the back panel. Measure the distance from the upper part of the waist band all the way to the bottom part of the hem.
